Matthew 19:4-6

What did Jesus say about gender, marriage, and sex?

Many people believe that Jesus never commented on these subjects. In the birth of this product and brand, we believe the Lord wants to reveal his grace & truth, and he’s chosen this topic to begin with.

What did Jesus say about gender?

God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ not only predate creation, but as the creator, he has the right to define and identify his creation. (Genesis 1, Colossians 1:15-17, John 8:56-58) Just as a mother and father have the right to name their child at birth, so God has the right to identify, define, and assign gender roles in our world and society.

Luke 9:23-24

In order to live a life that will honor the Lord, we must be willing to lay down our own ways, opinions, and beliefs. Not only about ourselves, but about others, about God, and the world around us and focus on what Jesus says.

What did Jesus say about sex?

Most of the world sees sex as a transaction or just a form of fulfillment. Sex was always supposed to be a gift from God and he designed it for us (Genesis 2:22-24, Proverbs 5:18). However, sex is considered holy and sacred, not something to be taken lightly. For this “joining” together isn’t a mere temporary joining, but an emotional and spiritual oneness that carries weight and responsibility in the sight of God. “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself…” 1 Corinthians 6:19

There also needs to be an exclusivity within a marriage covenant, hence the man “leaves his father and mother”. “Drink water from your own well—share your love only with your wife. Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone? You should reserve it for yourselves. Never share it with strangers.” Proverbs 5:15-17

What did Jesus say about marriage?

Our society boils down marriage to a mere contract that can be broken. And though divorce has become more and more common in our world, it was never God’s intention. (Malachi 2:16)
